Today we rode the narrow gauge rails to Cascade valley and back to Durango. The route was scenic and we enjoyed it a lot. Here’s a slide show, but be forewarned, it’s a LOT of photos!

I haven’t been there in a long time but it still looks gorgeous. Many years ago we lived in Farmington, NM and went to Durango to escape. (hee!) We drove the road to Silverton several times, never did take the train. Looks like you guys are having a blast!
