2008 Herb Walk ScheduleThis is the tentative schedule for 2008. I've tried to pick dates that will be pertinent to the various phases of the plants I'm most interested in, but if there's something in particular that you'd like to see, let me know and we'll try to schedule one at the time you'd like if it doesn't coincide with the one's I've already scheduled.March 23, 2008 - bloodroot blooming June 7, 2008 - goldenseal fruit green June 28, 2008 - ginseng fruit green, black cohosh blooming August 30, 2008 - ginseng fruit ripe Nov 8, 2008 - goldenseal root harvest, ginseng transplant, ginseng seeding time, witch hazel blooming Herb walks, group rate $25/ea (walks are fairly to very strenuous, see plants growing in native/natural environment, 2-5 hours) Medicine trail (under construction) $10/ea (much easier herb walk, along trail planted with various medicinals, 1-2 hours) Individual Herb Day, $150/ea (learn to identify, gather, prepare, and use whatever herbs are in season, 5 + hours) To sit with plants privately, first time $10/ea, then no charge for later sessions unless you need a guide to show you to and from location. ------------
For all activities a 'hold harmless' release is required. The terrain
here is rough and our hikes take place in areas fully natural and wild.

my own during walks or private sitting sessions with plants.----------
